New classroom for U3A

Footscray’s University of the Third Age has moved to the old bluestone school on the grounds of Footscray City Primary School.

University of the Third Age, or U3A, is a global movement that encourages learning during the third age of active retirement.

There are no prerequisites to be a member of U3A except to be at least 50 years of age and not in full time employment.

Footscray U3A offers a variety of classes including ancient history, Photoshop, genealogy, craft, French and philosophy.
