The music recording process will be on public display when musicians from Victoria University construct tunes for the VU Jam Jar project in early May.
Musicians will perform, record and edit each day in the window of VU’s Pop Up Shop at Metro West on Nicholson Street.
Normally located at Kindred Studios, the University has moved their instruments and equipment to the Metro West building for the Jam Jar project, giving passers-by a glimpse into the entire music production.
The musicians are learning the art of music and sound production as part of their studies with Victoria University.
You can become involved by tweeting your music and sound suggestions to the musicians by using the #vujamjar hashtag.
The VU Jam Jar will run from 6 to 10 May.
